ledBirdXP in Action

The following features are implemented in the current version of ledBirdXP:

Switching the e-mail LED on ASUS compatible notebooks using the ATKACPI Driver.

Icon in the Windows System-Tray providing a menu if right-clicked.

Tray-icon changes if there are unread mails from grayscale to colored.

If ledBirdXP detects unread e-mails a XP-style balloon is displayed in the lower right corner over the tray icon. This can be switched off in the context menu.

Changing Tooltip-text reflecting the current status if mouse hovers over the tray-icon.

Autostart of ledBirdXP on Windows-Start. This can be configured in the menu.

About-window with version informations.

This Website can be opened by clicking on the Website-item in the menu.

Doubbleclicking the tray icon checks for unread e-mails and displays the result in an info-balloon.

Automatic check if driver and/or led are installed - if not, the functions can be deactivated.

Manual deactivation of the LED in the menu if the led is too bright in dark working environments.

Optionally hide the systray icon when ledBirdXP is run automatically on Windows start.

User Interface in 3 languages: English, French and German.

Option to enable LED blinking.
